Summary of Today’s Activities:
It's homecoming week - today is Wacky Wednesday!
We are operating on a special schedule this week (no classes on Friday) so we are meeting in long periods this week but for a shorter duration of time.
My planning period consisted of running a bunch of errands in preparation for homecoming tomorrow.
PE - We didn't operate on a normal schedule and because homecoming is tomorrow, there was a lot of work to be done. During my PE class, I had my students help set up the field for the powderpuff game and setting up events for tomorrow.
Afternoon activities - The upper school girls participated in a football game and it was exciting! I didn't get to participate this year - due to impending knee surgery - but the game was physical and very fun to watch! I love that we can still participate in these events, even if we are a small school!

Reflection about Today’s Activities:
Even though class time was minimal today - we are stock piling the memories for these students. We had a great time working together and accomplishing different tasks. The boys got really protective over the field they created and didn't want anyone to mess it up, Of course I used this as a teaching moment - about being responsible and to always have that same respect for other peoples' work. I think they got the message :)
